This Privacy Policy explains how CentWise Edge Ltd. ("WingMan," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use WingMan AI (the "Service"), available at thebusinesswingman.online.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
WingMan AI is operated by CentWise Edge Ltd. ("CentWise"). WingMan is an AI-powered assistant that helps businesses automate non-core tasks such as managing email, generating business leads, conducting research, and related work.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: your email address, used to create and access your account.
- Email account credentials: if you connect a Gmail account, you provide an app-specific password so the Service can access that mailbox on your behalf. This credential is encrypted before it is stored and is used solely to let the Service read and act on your email as you instruct.
- Messaging connection details: if you connect Telegram, we store the identifiers needed to link your account (such as your Telegram user ID and bot token).
- Content you submit: the messages, instructions, and requests you send to the Service, and any information contained within them.
2.2 Information generated through your use of the Service
- Conversation history: the chats and interactions between you and the AI assistant, which we store so you can return to them.
- Task and configuration data: your settings, connected accounts, and records of tasks you have run.
- Lead data you generate: when you use the lead-generation feature, the Service retrieves information about business contacts (see Section 4). We store these results for your account so that you can view, re-download, or refer to them later.
2.3 Payment information
Billing is processed by our third-party payment processor, Paystack. We do not store your full card details on our systems. Paystack collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.
2.4 Technical information
We may collect standard technical data such as log information, device and browser information, and usage data necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Execute the tasks and instructions you give the assistant (including reading and acting on connected email or messaging accounts as directed);
- Perform lead-generation searches you request;
- Process payments and manage your subscription;
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Lead-Generation Data (Important)
The lead-generation feature retrieves information about third-party business contacts — such as names, job titles, business email addresses, company details, and publicly available professional profile links — from a third-party data provider (see Section 5).
Please understand:
- These individuals are not users of the Service and have not directly provided their information to you or to us through the Service.
- We retrieve this information on your instruction and store the results within your account so that you can access them again.
- You are solely responsible for how you use lead data, including ensuring that your collection, storage, and use of it — and any outreach you conduct — complies with all applicable laws, including data-protection and anti-spam laws in the relevant jurisdictions. Please see our Terms of Use for further detail.
If an individual whose data appears in lead results wishes to have their information removed, they (or you on their behalf) may contact us at hello@thebusinesswingman.online and we will take reasonable steps to remove that information from our systems.
5. How We Share Information
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service. These include:
- Apify — provides the data-scraping infrastructure used to generate leads.
- OpenRouter / DeepSeek (AI model providers) — process the content of your messages and instructions in order to generate the assistant's responses. Your inputs are transmitted to these providers to produce results.
- Supabase — provides database, authentication, and storage infrastructure.
- Hostinger — provides the server infrastructure on which the Service runs.
- Paystack — processes payments.
- Google — when you connect a Gmail account, the Service communicates with Google's email servers to access your mailbox as you instruct.
Each of these providers processes data under its own terms and privacy practices. We share only the information necessary for them to perform their function.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, safety, or property of WingMan, our users, or others, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).
6. AI Processing of Your Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence models to interpret your instructions and generate responses. When you send a message or instruction, its content is processed by AI model providers (Section 5). Please be mindful of the information you include in your messages. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
- Conversation history and generated leads are retained so you can access them, until you delete them or close your account.
- If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
- Trial accounts: data associated with unconverted trial accounts may be deleted automatically after the trial period ends.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@thebusinesswingman.online.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. For example, connected email credentials are encrypted, and each user's workspace is isolated. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@thebusinesswingman.online. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
10. International Users and Data Transfers
WingMan is operated by CentWise Edge Ltd. and serves users globally. Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including by the third-party providers listed in Section 5, whose infrastructure may be located in various jurisdictions. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in these locations.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
